MP5KE5.0A - MP5KE170CA is a series of cost-effective 500W TVS devices designed to protect voltage-sensitive components from damage or performance degradation. Available in both unidirectional and bidirectional configurations, with RoHS-compliant (annealed matte tin-plated finish) as well as screened, enhanced high-reliability options. The clamping response time is virtually instantaneous. As such, they are also effective for protection against ESD or EFT per IEC61000-4-2 and IEC61000-4-4, or for inductive switching environments and induced RFI. They can also be used for protection against secondary effects of lightning per IEC61000-4-5 at the levels listed below.
