개요
The bq24735 is a high-efficiency synchronous battery charger that offers a low component count for battery charging applications with space constraints and various battery chemistries. When the system's power supply demand temporarily exceeds the adapter's maximum power supply level, the bq24735 uses intelligent boost technology to allow the battery to release energy into the system, thus protecting the adapter from damage. To meet the need for automatic system power selection, the bq24735 uses two charge pumps to drive n-channel MOSFETs (ACFET, RBFET, and BATFET) respectively. The SMBus-controlled input current, charging current, and charging voltage DACs allow for very high regulation accuracy, which can be easily programmed via the system power management microcontroller. The bq24735 uses an internal input current register or an external ILIM pin to slow down the PWM modulation speed and reduce the charging current. The bq24735 charges 1-, 2-, 3-, or 4-series Li+ batteries and comes in a 20-pin, 3.5×3.5 mm² QFN package.
