Littelfuse SG series gas discharge tubes deliver high surge ratings in a miniature package. Designed for surface mounting on PCBs, the device features a compact 4.5×3.2×2.7 mm footprint. Its low insertion loss makes it ideal for broadband equipment applications. Capacitance does not vary with voltage, eliminating operational issues caused by capacitance variation between tip and ring lines in ADSL2+ applications. These devices are extremely robust, capable of shunting 1000A pulses without damage.
