Introduction
The broadband-optimized SL1002A series is developed specifically for broadband equipment applications. Its special design provides a high level of protection against fast transients with rise rates in the range of 100V/μs to 1kV/μs, typically caused by lightning strike interference. These devices feature ultra-low capacitance (typical value of 1.2pF or lower), with negligible signal loss at frequencies up to 1.5GHz. These devices are extremely robust, capable of diverting 5000A pulses without damage. For AC power line crosstalk of longer duration, overcurrent protection is recommended.
