Introduction
The MC74HC244A has the same pinout as the LS244. MC74HC244A device inputs are compatible with standard CMOS outputs; with pull-up resistors, they are compatible with LSTTL outputs. MC74HCT244A device inputs are compatible with standard CMOS or TTL outputs. The MC74HCT244A can be used as a level shifter to interface TTL or NMOS outputs with high-speed CMOS inputs.
These octal non-inverting buffers/line drivers/line receivers are designed for three-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and other bus-oriented systems. The devices feature non-inverting outputs and two active-low output enables.
The HC244A/HCT244A are the non-inverting versions of the HC240A/HCT240A.
