IDCHIP 8002B

The 8002B is a Class AB, mono, bridge audio power amplifier with shutdown mode. Operating at 5V with a 1KHz input frequency, it delivers a maximum output power of 3W (4Ω load, THD<10%) and 2W (4Ω load, THD<1%). Total harmonic distortion plus noise is less than 1% across the 20Hz to 20KHz audio frequency range. The application circuit is simple, requiring minimal external components to deliver high-quality output power, with no external coupling capacitors, bootstrap capacitors, snubber networks, or feedback resistors required at the output. The 8002B is available in a SOP-8 package, making it particularly suitable for low-power, compact portable systems. It supports a low-power shutdown mode via a control pin and features built-in thermal auto-shutdown protection. The device operates with unity-gain stability and allows flexible voltage gain adjustment through external resistor configuration.
