HopeRF Micro-electronics CMT83085

CMT83085/CMT83087 are high-reliability half-duplex RS-485 transceivers based on digital isolation technology. The devices are UL1577 safety certified, supporting 5kVrms isolation voltage withstand, while featuring low emissions, low power consumption, and strong EMI immunity. The bus-side pins provide ±12kV system-level ESD protection to ground. The devices incorporate failsafe protection, ensuring a logic-high output at the receiver when the receiver input is open or shorted. The receiver input impedance is 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 transceivers to be connected on the bus. The data rate of 12Mbps helps reduce EMI on the transmission line. The devices are available in a wide-body SOIC-16 package.
