Introduction
The TPS62850x-Q1 is a pin-to-pin 1A, 2A (continuous), and 3A (peak) easy-to-use, high-efficiency synchronous DC/DC buck converter family. These devices are based on peak current mode control topology and are designed for automotive applications such as infotainment systems and advanced driver assistance systems. Low-resistance switches support up to 2A continuous output current and 3A peak current. The switching frequency of the TPS62850x-Q1 is externally adjustable over a range of 1.8MHz to 4MHz. These devices can also be synchronized to an external clock within the same frequency range. In PWM/PFM mode, the device automatically enters power-save mode under light load conditions, maintaining high efficiency across the entire load range. The family provides 1% output voltage accuracy in PWM mode, facilitating power supply designs with high output voltage precision. The TPS62850x-Q1 is available in a SOT583 package.
