Introduction
SIT3485 is a 3.3V, half-duplex, low-power RS-485 transceiver that fully complies with the TIA/EIA-485 standard. SIT3485 integrates one driver and one receiver, both of which can be independently enabled or disabled. When both are disabled, the driver and receiver outputs enter a high-impedance state. SIT3485 features 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 SIT3485 transceivers to be connected in parallel on the same communication bus. Error-free data transmission at up to 12Mbps is supported. SIT3485 operates over a supply voltage range of 3.0~3.6V, with built-in fail-safe, over-temperature protection, current-limiting protection, and overvoltage protection.
