Introduction
The OPA387, OPA2387, and OPA4387 (OPAx387) precision amplifier series offer excellent performance. With zero-drift technology, the OPAx387's offset voltage and offset drift provide excellent long-term stability. Consuming only 570 μA of quiescent current, the OPAx387 can achieve a bandwidth of 5.7 MHz, a broadband noise of 8.5 nV/√Hz, and a 1/f noise of 177 nVPP. These specifications are crucial for achieving ultra-high precision in 16-bit to 24-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) without degrading linearity. The OPAx387 has a flat bias current over the temperature range; therefore, high-input-impedance applications require little calibration over the temperature range. All versions are rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
