Introduction
CD4049UB and CD4050B are monolithic wide-voltage-range CMOS hex buffer ICs featuring low power consumption, high noise immunity, and flexible application. These devices require only a single supply voltage VDD to achieve logic level translation. When used as logic level translators, the input high level VIH can exceed the supply voltage VDD. They can be used for CMOS-to-DTL and TTL level translation, or as CMOS current drivers. At VDD = 5.0V, they are capable of driving 2 DTL/TTL loads over the entire operating temperature range.
