Introduction
The EG1612 is a dedicated control IC for inverter front-stage push-pull or full-bridge boost circuits. It integrates three high-voltage half-bridge drivers and provides battery undervoltage/overvoltage shutdown, undervoltage buzzer alert, and overcurrent shutdown protection. The IC outputs two-channel push-pull mode PWM signals at 40K~111KHz, and employs a shallow closed-loop voltage regulation mode for feedback, enabling maximum voltage clamping to prevent MOS transistor burnout caused by excessive no-load voltage. This also eliminates the need for output filter inductors on the transformer, reducing overall cost and PCB footprint.
