Introduction
TMUX7411F, TMUX7412F, and TMUX7413F are CMOS analog switches available in a 4-channel 1:1 (SPST) configuration. These devices operate with dual supplies (±5V to ±22V), single supply (8V to 44V), or asymmetric supplies (e.g., VDD = 12V, VSS = -5V). The TMUX741xF devices provide overvoltage protection during both power-on and power-off conditions, making them suitable for applications where power supply sequencing cannot be precisely controlled. Under power-on and power-off conditions, the device can block fault voltages up to +60V or -60V with respect to ground. In the absence of power, the switch channels remain in the off state regardless of switch input conditions, and any control signals on the logic pins are ignored. If the signal path input voltage on any Sx pin exceeds the supply voltage (VDD or VSS) by a threshold voltage (VT), the channel will turn off and the Sx pin will enter a high-impedance state. During a fault condition, the drain pin (Dx) of the selected channel is left floating. The TMUX741xF devices provide an active-low fault flag (FF) to indicate whether any source input has experienced a fault, aiding system diagnostics.
