WS4455 is a low-power, high-performance 315M/433M short-range wireless communication transmitter IC supporting ASK modulation, with automatic on-chip tuning capability. It integrates a PLL and power amplifier on-chip. Key features include low power consumption, wide operating voltage range, and high output power.

The WS4455 integrates a PLL and power amplifier on-chip. The PLL provides the carrier signal for the transmitter. Operating at relatively low frequencies (315M/433M), the PLL uses a ring oscillator as the local oscillator source, with a fixed frequency divider and built-in loop filter in the loop. The power amplifier amplifies the input signal, using open-drain output with an external choke inductor. A π-type narrowband matching network is employed in the application to improve harmonic suppression and ensure output power greater than 10dBm. The WS4455 is available in a SOT23-6 package.
