Introduction
The INA290-Q1 is an ultra-precision current-sensing amplifier that can measure the voltage drop across a shunt resistor within a wide common-mode range of 2.7V to 120V. It comes in a space-saving SC-70 package, with a PCB footprint of only 2.0mm×2.1mm. Thanks to the combination of features such as an ultra-low offset voltage of ±12μV (maximum), a small gain error of ±0.1% (maximum), and a high DC CMRR of 160dB (typical), the device can achieve ultra-high precision in current measurement. With a high bandwidth of 1.1MHz (at a gain of 20V/V) and an AC CMRR of 85dB (at 50kHz), the INA290-Q1 is suitable not only for DC current measurement but also for high-speed applications (e.g., fast overcurrent protection). By detecting the voltage drop across the shunt resistor within a wide common-mode range of 2.7V to 120V, the INA290-Q1 can provide the function of ultra-precision current measurement.
