Introduction
The INA126 and INA2126 (INAx126) are precision instrumentation amplifiers designed for accurate, low-noise, differential signal acquisition. These devices feature a dual operational amplifier design with low quiescent current (175 μA per channel), providing excellent transient performance. With these characteristics and a wide operating voltage range from ±1.35 V to ±18 V, the INAx126 is well-suited for portable instrumentation and data acquisition systems. The gain can be set from 5 V/V to 10,000 V/V using a single external resistor. The precision input circuitry offers low offset voltage (250 μV maximum), low offset voltage drift (3 μV/°C maximum), and excellent common-mode rejection. All versions are rated for operation over the industrial temperature range of –40°C to +85°C.
