The ISO733x can provide current isolation of up to 3000V_RMS for up to 1 minute in compliance with UL standards, as well as 4242V_PK isolation in compliance with VDE standards. These devices feature three isolated channels, where the logic inputs and output buffers are separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO₂) insulation barrier. The ISO7330 has three non - inverting channels, while the ISO7331 has two forward channels and one reverse channel. In the event of input power or signal loss, devices with the suffix "F" default to a "low" output level, while those without the "F" suffix default to a "high" output level. When used with an isolated power supply, these devices can prevent noise currents on the data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuits. The ISO733x has integrated noise filters for harsh environments where short noise pulses may appear on the device's input pins. The ISO733x has transistor - transistor logic (TTL) input thresholds and operates with a supply voltage range from 3V to 5.5V. Thanks to innovative chip design and wiring technology, the electromagnetic compatibility of the ISO733x has been significantly enhanced, ensuring system - level ESD, EFT, and surge protection and compliance with radiation standards.
