Introduction
The LMC6482 and LMC6484 (LMC648x) devices provide a common-mode range that extends to both supply rails. These devices not only offer rail-to-rail performance, but also deliver superior accuracy through high CMRR, setting them apart among rail-to-rail input amplifiers. They are well suited for systems requiring large input signal ranges, such as data acquisition. The LMC648x also serves as an excellent upgrade for circuits using limited common-mode range amplifiers such as the TLC272, TLC274, TLC277, and TLC279. The rail-to-rail output swing of the LMC648x provides maximum dynamic signal range in low-voltage and single-supply systems. Rail-to-rail output swing is guaranteed for device loads as low as 600Ω. The LMC648x is particularly well suited for battery-powered systems due to its specified low-voltage and low-power dissipation characteristics. LMC648x devices are available in PDIP, SOIC, and VSSOP packages.
