The LMZ23608 SIMPLE SWITCHER power module is an easy-to-use step-down DC/DC solution capable of driving loads up to 8A. Its innovative package design improves thermal performance and supports both manual and machine soldering. It operates from input voltage rails between 6V and 36V, and provides an adjustable high-accuracy output voltage as low as 0.8V. Only two external resistors and three external capacitors are required to form a complete power solution. It is a reliable, robust design featuring protection functions including thermal shutdown, input undervoltage lockout, output overvoltage protection, short-circuit protection, and output current limiting, while also supporting pre-biased output startup. A synchronization input allows frequency synchronization within a switching frequency range of 350 to 600 kHz.
