The ADS1219 is a 24-bit precision ADC that integrates all the features required to implement common system monitoring functions such as power supply voltage, current, and temperature monitoring. The device supports two differential inputs or four single-ended inputs through a flexible input MUX, rail-to-rail input buffers, a programmable gain stage, a voltage reference, and an oscillator. The device features buffers for direct connection to high-impedance sources. The buffers provide a gain stage with selectable gains of 1 and 4. The ADS1219 performs conversions with single-cycle settling at data rates up to 1000 SPS. For industrial applications in noisy environments, the digital filter provides simultaneous 50Hz and 60Hz rejection at a sampling rate of 20 SPS. The ADS1219 features an I²C-compatible 2-wire interface supporting I²C bus speeds up to 1Mbps. Up to 16 different I²C addresses can be selected via two address pins. The ADS1219 is available in a leadless 16-pin WQFN or 16-pin TSSOP package, rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
