The TPS7A63-Q1 and TPS7A6401-Q1 are low-dropout linear regulator families designed for low power consumption and quiescent current below 35μA in light-load applications. These devices feature an integrated programmable window watchdog and overcurrent protection, enabling stable operation even with low-ESR ceramic output capacitors. Designers can set the output voltage using external resistors. The low-dropout tracking characteristic allows the use of smaller input capacitors and potentially eliminates the need for a boost converter during cold start. The power-on reset delay is fixed (typical 250μs) or can be set using an external capacitor. With these features, these devices are well suited as power supplies for a wide range of automotive applications.
