Introduction
This device contains four independent, high-gain, frequency-compensated operational amplifiers designed to operate from a single supply over a wide voltage range. Dual-supply operation is also possible if the voltage difference between the two supplies is between 3V and 36V (B-version devices), between 3V and 32V (V-version devices), or between 3V and 26V (all other devices), and VCC is at least 1.5V above the positive input common-mode voltage. The low supply-current drain is independent of the supply voltage magnitude. Application areas include transducer amplifiers, DC gain blocks, and all conventional op amp circuits, which can now be easily implemented in single-supply voltage systems. For example, the LM2902 can operate directly from the standard 5V supply voltage used in digital systems, and can readily provide the required interface electronics without the need for an additional ±15V supply.
