Introduction
The DRV5033 is a chopper-stabilized Hall effect sensor that provides magnetic field sensing with excellent sensitivity stability and integrated protection features across the full temperature range.
The DRV5033 responds identically to both magnetic field polarities. When the applied magnetic flux density exceeds the B_OP threshold, the DRV5033 open-drain output goes low. The output remains low until the magnetic flux density drops below B_RP, after which it returns to high impedance. The output sink current capability is 30mA. Reverse polarity protection up to -22V and a wide operating voltage range (2.5 to 38V) make this device well-suited for a wide variety of industrial signal applications.
The device provides internal protection against reverse supply conditions, load dump, and output short-circuit or overcurrent faults.
