Introduction
The TPS7A80 series low-dropout linear regulators (LDO) deliver ultra-high power supply ripple rejection (PSRR) at the output. This LDO series utilizes an advanced BiCMOS process and PMOSFET pass device to achieve ultra-low noise, excellent transient response, and superior PSRR performance. The TPS7A80 series remains stable when operating with a 4.7μF ceramic output capacitor, and employs a precision voltage reference and feedback loop to achieve 3% accuracy under worst-case conditions across all load, line, process, and temperature variations. This series is rated for an operating junction temperature range of TJ = -40℃ to +125℃, and is available in a 3mm×3mm VSON-8 package with an exposed thermal pad.
