Introduction
The SN74CBTLV3257 is a 4-bit, 2-to-1 high-speed FET multiplexer/demultiplexer. This switch features low on-state resistance, enabling connections to be established with minimal propagation delay. The select (S) input controls the data flow. When the output enable (OE) input is high, the FET multiplexer/demultiplexer is disabled. This device is fully suitable for Ioff partial power-down applications. The Ioff characteristic ensures that no damaging backflow current passes through the device when powered off. The device provides isolation during power-down. To ensure a high-impedance state during power-up or power-down, OE should be connected to VCC through a pull-up resistor; the minimum value of this resistor is determined by the current sinking capability of the driver.
