Introduction
The TAS5760M-Q1 is a stereo digital-input Class-D audio amplifier, which is well-suited for the stability of high-speed serial links in automotive emergency call (eCall), telematics, acoustic vehicle alerting system (AVAS), and EV/HEV sound generation applications. This device provides up to 25W of instantaneous power (with a 4Ω load, THD+N of 10%, and a supply voltage of 14.4V). The TAS5760M-Q1 also includes hardware and software (I²C) control modes, an integrated digital clipper, optional gain options, and a wide power supply operating range (4.5V – 26.4V). The 120mΩ RDS(ON) of the output MOSFET strikes a good balance between thermal performance and device cost. This device comes in a thermally enhanced 32-pin HTSSOP (DAP) package.
