TI TLC6C598PWR

The TLC6C598 device is a monolithic, medium-voltage, low-current power 8-bit shift register designed for systems with relatively moderate load power requirements (e.g., LEDs). This device includes an 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift register, which provides data for an 8-bit Class D storage register. The shift register and the storage register have separate clocks. The outputs are low-side, open-drain DMOS transistor outputs. The output ratings are 40V and 50mA continuous sink current or 200mA PWM current (when ΔVCC = 5V, single-pulse duration is less than 1ms and average current is below 50mA). The device features built-in thermal shutdown protection and provides up to 2000V of electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection in the Human Body Model and 200V Machine Model tests. The TLC6C598 is rated for an operating ambient temperature range of -40°C to 105°C.
