Introduction
The OPA320 (single-channel) and OPA2320 (dual-channel) are a new generation of optimized precision low-voltage CMOS operational amplifiers with extremely low noise, high bandwidth, and a low quiescent current of only 1.45 mA. The OPA320 series is well-suited for low-power, single-supply applications. Their low noise (7 nV/√Hz) and high-speed operation characteristics also make them ideal for driving sampling analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). Other applications include signal conditioning and sensor amplification. The OPA320 features a linear input stage with zero crossover distortion, providing an excellent common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 114 dB (typ) over the entire input range. The input common-mode voltage range extends 100 mV beyond the positive and negative supply rails. The output voltage swing typically reaches within 10 mV of the supply rails. Additionally, the OPAx320 has a wide supply voltage range of 1.8 V to 5.5 V and extremely good power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of 106 dB across the entire supply voltage range, making it well-suited for high-precision, low-power applications powered directly by batteries without voltage regulation.
