Introduction
TLV767-Q1 is a linear regulator with a wide input range, supporting input voltages from 2.5V to 16V and load currents up to 1A. The output range is 0.8V to 12V, and up to 14.6V in the adjustable version. The wide input voltage range allows the device to be powered from transformer secondary windings and regulated 10V or 12V supply rails. The wide output voltage range enables it to generate bias voltages for SiC gate drivers and microphones, as well as power MCUs and processors. The TLV767-Q1 offers 1% output accuracy, making it suitable for powering digital loads with stringent supply requirements. An internal soft-start circuit reduces inrush current during startup, thereby lowering input capacitance requirements. High-bandwidth PSRR performance exceeding 70dB at 1kHz and 46dB at 1MHz helps attenuate the switching frequency of upstream DC/DC converters and minimizes post-regulator filtering. The device provides high ripple rejection from 20Hz to 20kHz, making it an ideal choice for powering audio components. The TLV767-Q1 is available in an 8-pin, 3mm × 3mm VSON (DRB) package with wettable flanks and low thermal resistance.
