The TMP303 device is a temperature range monitor that provides design flexibility through an ultra-small package (SOT-563), low power consumption (5μA maximum), and low supply voltage operation (down to 1.4V). These devices operate without additional components; each device can operate independently of a microprocessor or microcontroller. Seven trip points are available. Trip points can be factory-programmed to any desired temperature. The OUT pin is a push-pull, active-high output. The OUT pin is high when the measured temperature exceeds the trip point range and the set output high (SOH) pin is in a low state. The SOH pin is an input pin with an internal pull-down resistor. When the SOH pin is forced high, the OUT pin goes high regardless of the measured temperature.
