Introduction
The OPA1637 is a fully differential audio operational amplifier with low noise and low total harmonic distortion (THD), which can easily filter and drive a fully differential signal chain. The OPA1637 can also convert a single-ended signal source into the differential output required by a high-fidelity analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The bipolar super ß input is designed to achieve excellent low noise and THD, and can produce a very low noise figure at very low quiescent current and input bias current. This device is designed for audio circuits that require low power consumption, high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR). The OPA1637 has a high-voltage power supply capability, supporting a power supply voltage of up to ±18V. This feature allows the high-voltage differential signal chain to increase margin and dynamic range without adding a separate amplifier for each polarity of the differential signal. The extremely low voltage and current noise enable the OPA1637 to be used in high-gain configurations with minimal impact on the audio signal noise.
