Introduction
The INA188 is a precision instrumentation amplifier that uses auto-zero technology to achieve low offset voltage, near-zero offset and gain drift, excellent linearity, and ultra-low noise density (12nV/√Hz) down to DC. The INA188 is optimized to provide an excellent common-mode rejection ratio of over 104dB (G ≥ 10). Its excellent common-mode and power-supply rejection performance supports high-resolution precision measurement applications. This general-purpose three-op-amp design offers rail-to-rail output, low-voltage operation powered by a 4V single supply or dual supplies up to ±18V, and a wide input range with high impedance. These specifications make the device an ideal choice for general-purpose signal measurement and sensor conditioning applications, such as temperature or bridge applications. The gain can be set from 1 to 1000 using a single external resistor. The INA188 is designed with an industry-standard gain formula: G = 1 + (50kΩ/RG). The reference pin can be used for level shifting during single-supply operation or for offset calibration. The INA188 is rated for operation over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
