Introduction
The TPS3779 and TPS3780 belong to the high-precision dual-channel voltage detector series, offering the advantages of low power consumption and a small solution size. The SENSE1 and SENSE2 inputs feature hysteresis to suppress short glitches, ensuring stable output operation without false triggering. This series of products provides different factory-set hysteresis options of 0.5%, 1%, 5%, or 10%. The TPS3779 and TPS3780 have adjustable sense (SENSE) inputs that can be configured via an external resistor divider. When the voltages on the SENSE1 and SENSE2 inputs fall below the falling thresholds, OUT1 and OUT2 are driven low respectively. When SENSE1 and SENSE2 rise above the rising thresholds, OUT1 and OUT2 go high respectively. The device has an ultra-low quiescent current of 2μA (typical) and provides an accurate and space-saving voltage detection solution, making it ideal for low-power system monitoring and portable applications. The TPS3779 and TPS3780 operate over a supply voltage range of 1.5V to 6.5V and a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
