Introduction
BL6552 is a 7-channel three-phase energy monitoring and analysis IC, suitable for applications such as three-phase smart circuit breakers, three-phase DIN rail meters, electrical measuring instruments, and power monitoring of high-power equipment, offering a high cost-performance ratio.
The BL6552 integrates seven high-precision Sigma-Delta ADCs, reference voltage circuits, temperature sensors, and other analog circuit modules, along with digital signal processing circuits for computing electrical parameters such as power, RMS, energy, and temperature. It supports measurement of total (fundamental and harmonic) active power and energy, reactive power and energy, and apparent power and energy for each phase and combined phases of a three-phase system, as well as fundamental active power and energy, reactive power and energy, per-phase current and voltage RMS values, power factor, and other parameters. It also features power quality management functions including current loss detection, current and voltage peak detection, and zero-crossing detection, and is capable of providing real-time waveforms.
The BL6552 integrates SPI and UART interfaces, facilitating the transfer of metering parameters and calibration parameters between the device and an external MCU.
The BL6552 employs a data-stream computation architecture internally to process various signals, providing excellent reliability under external interference conditions. An internal supply voltage monitoring circuit ensures normal operation during power-up and power-down sequences.
