Introduction
The TPS92560 is a simple LED driver designed to drive high-power LEDs by drawing a constant current from the power supply. This device is well-suited for MR16 and AR111 applications, which require good compatibility with both DC and alternating current (AC) voltages as well as electronic transformers. The hysteretic control scheme eliminates the need for control loop compensation and offers the advantages of fast transient response and high power factor. With the patented feedback control method, the output power can be determined without changing components based on the number of LEDs used. The TPS92560 supports both boost and SEPIC configurations and is suitable for a variety of LED modules.
