These monolithic TTL circuits integrate dual 1-line-to-4-line demultiplexers in a 16-pin package, featuring individual strobe inputs and common binary address inputs. When both sections are enabled via their strobes, the common binary address inputs sequentially select and route the associated input data to the corresponding outputs of each section. Individual strobes allow each 4-bit section to be activated or inhibited as needed. Data applied to the 1C input is inverted at its outputs, while data applied to the 2C input is not inverted at its outputs. The inverter following the 1C data input allows the device to be used as a 3-line-to-8-line decoder or 1-line-to-8-line demultiplexer without external gating. All these circuits provide input clamp diodes to reduce transmission line effects and simplify system design.
