Introduction
The SN74CBTD16210 provides a 20-bit high-speed TTL-compatible bus switch. The low on-resistance of this switch allows connections to be established with minimal propagation delay. Diodes to Vcc are integrated in the circuit to convert the 5V signal level at the device input to the 3.3V signal level at the device output. The device is organized as a dual 10-bit bus switch with independent output enable (OE) inputs. It can be used as two 10-bit bus switches or as one 20-bit bus switch. When OE is low, the corresponding 10-bit bus switch closes, connecting port A to port B. When OE is high, the switch opens, and a high-impedance state exists between the ports.
