Introduction
This dual-channel bidirectional analog switch is designed for 1.65V to 5.5V VCC operating environments. The SN74LVC2G66 device handles both analog and digital signals. The SN74LVC2G66 device allows signal transmission in either direction with amplitudes up to 5.5V (peak). NanoFree packaging technology represents a major breakthrough in IC packaging concepts, using the die itself as the package. Each switch section has its own input enable control (C). A high voltage applied to C turns on the associated switch section. Applications include signal gating, chopping, modulation or demodulation (modem), and signal multiplexing for analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion systems.
