TI TMUX1511RSVR

The TMUX1511 is a CMOS switch. The TMUX1511 provides a 1:1 SPST switch configuration with 4 independently controlled channels. A wide operating supply voltage range of 1.5V to 5.5V makes it suitable for a variety of applications ranging from servers and communications equipment to industrial applications. The device supports bidirectional analog and digital signals on the source (Sx) and drain (Dx) pins, and can pass signals above the supply rail (up to VDD×2), with a maximum input/output voltage of 5.5V.

The TMUX1511's power-off protection of up to 3.6V on the signal path provides isolation when the supply voltage is removed (VDD = 0V). Without this protection, the switch could back-power the supply rail through internal ESD diodes, potentially causing system damage.

The fault-protection logic circuit allows voltage to be applied to the logic control pins before the supply pins, protecting the device from potential damage. All logic control inputs feature 1.8V logic-compatible thresholds, which ensure TTL and CMOS logic compatibility when the device operates within the valid supply voltage range.
