Introduction
This CAN transceiver series complies with the ISO1189-2 (2016) high-speed CAN (Controller Area Network) physical layer standard. All devices are designed for CAN FD networks with data rates up to 2Mbps (megabits per second). Devices with the "G" suffix in their part numbers are designed to achieve data rates up to 5Mbps. Devices with the "V" suffix in their part numbers are equipped with an auxiliary power supply input that provides the I/O level for setting the input pin threshold and the RXD output level. This series features a low-power standby mode and a remote wake-up request feature. In addition, all devices offer a variety of protection features to enhance the durability of the devices and the network.

- Bus fault protection: ±58V (non-H versions) and ±70V (H versions)
- Undervoltage protection on VCC and VIO (V versions only) supply terminals
- Driver dominant timeout (TXD DTO) — data rates down to 10kbps
- Thermal shutdown protection (TSD)
- Receiver common-mode input voltage: ±30V
- Typical loop delay: 110ns
- Junction temperature range: –55°C to 150°C
- Available in SOIC (8) and leadless VSON (8) packages (3.0mm×3.0mm) with enhanced AOI capability
