Introduction
The SN74CBTLV3257 device is a 4-bit, 2:1 high-speed FET multiplexer/demultiplexer. This switch features low on-state resistance and can establish connections with minimal propagation delay. The Select (S) input controls the data flow. When the Output Enable (OE̅) input is high, the FET multiplexer/demultiplexer is disabled. This device is fully suitable for partial-power-down applications using Ioff. The Ioff feature ensures that damaging current is prevented from flowing back through the device during shutdown. The device provides isolation during shutdown. To ensure a high-impedance state during power-up or power-down, OE should be connected to VCC through a pull-up resistor; the minimum value of this resistor is determined by the current-sinking capability of the driver.
