Introduction
The AM26LV32E device consists of four differential line receivers with three-state outputs. This device is designed to meet the requirements of TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU Recommendation V.11 drivers with a low supply voltage. This device is optimized for balanced bus transmission at switching rates up to 32 MHz. With three-state outputs, this device can be directly connected to bus-organized systems. The AM26LV32E has a fail-safe circuit that prevents the device from having an unknown voltage signal at the receiver output. In the open-circuit fail-safe mode, a high state is produced at the corresponding output. This device supports local power-down applications using Ioff. The Ioff circuit disables the outputs to prevent damage to the device from reverse current flow when the device is powered down.
