Introduction
The AH332X is a high-voltage, high-sensitivity Hall-effect unipolar switch IC designed for proximity, position, and liquid-level sensing in industrial, consumer appliance, and personal care applications. It is optimized to operate over a wide supply voltage range of 3.0V to 28V to support a broad range of application requirements. A chopper-stabilized architecture combined with an internal bandgap regulator provides a temperature-compensated supply for internal circuitry, delivering a reliable solution across the entire operating range. The device features a reverse-blocking diode with Zener clamp, and the output incorporates overcurrent limiting and Zener clamping for enhanced robustness and protection. The single open-drain output is activated by a south-pole magnetic field of sufficient strength. When the magnetic flux density (B) perpendicular to the package exceeds the operate point (Bop), the output turns on (pulls low) and remains on until B falls below the release point (BRp). For SOT23 Type S and SC59 packages, the magnetic operate and release polarities are reversed.
