Hangzhou Ruimeng Tech MS6364

The MS6364 is a 3-channel video buffer with an integrated rail-to-rail output driver with 6dB gain and a 6th-order output reconstruction filter. The MS6364 offers a -3dB bandwidth of 10MHz and a slew rate of 46V/µs. The MS6364 delivers superior image quality compared to passive LC filter solutions with external drivers. It operates from a single supply ranging from +2.5V to +5.5V with an ultra-low operating current of 43.5mA, making it ideal for battery-powered applications.

The MS6364 accepts DAC output signals via either DC-coupled or AC-coupled inputs. Internal diode clamping and biasing circuits support AC-coupled input configurations. The MS6364 also incorporates an internal level-shifting circuit that prevents sync pulse clipping and enables DC-coupled output. The MS6364 output can drive DC- or AC-coupled single (150Ω) or double (75Ω) loads. The MS6364 is available in an SOIC-8 8-pin package with ESD protection up to 8KV.

The MS6364 operates from a single supply of +2.5V to +5V. In applications, the MS6364 serves as a complete filter and buffer for standard-definition video signal decoding and encoding. For example, the MS6364 can replace three passive low-pass filters and three op-amp drivers in R\G\B and Y\Pb\Pr outputs of set-top boxes and DVD players. Compared to traditional discrete component designs, the MS6364 solution reduces PCB area, lowers cost, and improves video signal performance.

The MS6364 integrates a DC-coupled input buffer, a video encoder for out-of-band noise rejection, and an op-amp driver with +6dB gain capable of driving 75Ω loads. The AC- or DC-coupled input buffer eliminates sync compression, bending, and field tilt. The MS6364 output can also be either DC-coupled or AC-coupled.
