This device complies with the ISO11898 high-speed CAN physical layer standard and is designed for CAN FD networks at data rates up to 5 Mbps, offering enhanced timing margin and higher data rates in long-distance and high-load networks. The device features cross-wiring, overvoltage, and loss-of-ground protection from -70 V to +70 V, overtemperature shutdown protection, and a common-mode input voltage range of -30 V to +30 V. The TPT1051V includes a secondary power supply input for I/O level shifting, enabling adjustable input pin thresholds and RXD output levels. The device family features a Silent mode, also commonly referred to as Listen-Only mode. In addition, all devices incorporate multiple protection features to enhance the robustness of both the device and the network. The TPT1051 and TPT1051V are available in SOP8 and DFN3X3-8L packages, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
