Introduction
UCC14130-Q1 is an automotive-grade, high-isolation-voltage DC/DC power module designed to power GaN, IGBT, SiC, or Si gate drivers. It integrates a transformer and DC/DC controller in a proprietary architecture that achieves high efficiency and ultra-low emissions. It can deliver a 12V isolated output from a 12V regulated input for driving GaN and Si MOSFETs, or a 15V or 18V isolated output from a 15V regulated input to bias SiC MOSFET or IGBT gate drive circuits. High-accuracy characteristics enable better channel enhancement for higher system efficiency without overstressing power device gates.
The UCC14130-Q1 delivers up to 1.5W (typical) of isolated output power at high efficiency. The module requires minimal external components and features on-chip device protection, along with additional capabilities including input UVLO, overvoltage lockout, output voltage power-good comparator, overtemperature shutdown, soft-start timeout, adjustable isolated positive and negative output voltages, an enable pin, and an open-drain power-good output pin.
