Introduction
TMP100 and TMP101 are two high-accuracy, low-power digital temperature sensors designed to replace NTC/PTC thermistors for temperature measurement in communications, computing, consumer electronics, environmental, industrial, and instrumentation applications. Over the normal operating range of -40°C to +125°C, TMP100 and TMP101 provide temperature accuracy of ≤±0.5°C with excellent linearity. TMP100 and TMP101 operate from a supply voltage of 2.7~5.5V, with a quiescent current of less than 40μA during temperature conversion. The on-chip 12-bit ADC offers a resolution as low as 0.0625°C. TMP100 and TMP101 are available in a 2.9mm×1.6mm SOT-23(6) package, compatible with SMBus and I²C interfaces, and feature SMBus Alert functionality.
