HXY MOSFET SP3483EN-HXY

The SP3483EN is a low-power transceiver with ±15kV ESD protection, powered by a +3.3V supply, designed for RS-485 and RS-422 communications. Each device contains one driver and one receiver. The SP3483EN features a slew-rate-limited driver that minimizes EMI and reduces reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, enabling error-free data transmission at data rates up to 250kbps. The device offers enhanced ESD protection. All driver outputs and receiver inputs are protected to IEC 1000-4-2 air-gap discharge ±8kV, IEC 1000-4-2 contact discharge ±15kV, and Human Body Model ±15kV. The driver includes short-circuit current limiting and is protected by a thermal shutdown circuit that places the driver outputs in a high-impedance state to prevent excessive power dissipation. The receiver inputs feature a fail-safe function that guarantees a logic-high output when both inputs are open. The SP3483EN is designed for half-duplex communications.
