The MSPM0G150x microcontrollers (MCUs) belong to the MSP family of highly integrated, ultra-low-power 32-bit MCUs. They are based on an enhanced Arm Cortex®-M0+ 32-bit core platform and can operate at a maximum frequency of 80MHz. These low-cost MCUs offer high-performance analog peripheral integration, support an operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, and operate with a supply voltage from 1.62 V to 3.6 V.

The MSPM0G150x devices provide up to 128KB of embedded flash program memory with built-in error correction code (ECC) and up to 32KB of SRAM with ECC and hardware parity options. These MCUs also include a memory protection unit, a 7-channel DMA, a math accelerator, and various high-performance analog peripherals, such as two 12-bit 4MSPS ADCs, a configurable internal shared voltage reference, a 12-bit 1Msps DAC, three high-speed comparators with built-in reference DACs, two zero-drift, zero-crossing operational amplifiers with programmable gain, and a general-purpose amplifier.

These devices also offer intelligent digital peripherals, such as two 16-bit advanced control timers, five general-purpose timers (including one 16-bit general-purpose timer for the QEI interface, two 16-bit general-purpose timers for standby mode, and one 32-bit general-purpose timer), two windowed watchdog timers, and an RTC with alarm and calendar modes. These devices provide data integrity and encryption peripherals (AES, CRC, TRNG) and enhanced communication interfaces (four UARTs, two I2Cs, two SPIs).

The TI MSPM0 series of low-power MCUs includes devices with different levels of analog and digital integration, allowing customers to find an MCU that meets their engineering requirements. The MSPM0 MCU platform combines the Arm Cortex-M0+ platform with an ultra-low-power overall system architecture, enabling system designers to improve performance while reducing energy consumption.

The MSPM0G150x MCUs are supported by a wide range of hardware and software ecosystems, accompanied by reference designs and code examples to help you quickly start your design. Development kits include the purchasable LaunchPad. TI also offers a free MSP software development kit (SDK), which is available in the TI ResourceExplorer as a component for both the desktop and cloud versions of the Code Composer Studio IDE. The MSPM0 MCUs also provide extensive online supporting materials and training through the MSP Academy and online support through the TI E2E support forum.
