Introduction
The TPS22965x-Q1 is a small, ultra-low RON single-channel load switch with controlled turn-on. The device integrates an N-channel MOSFET capable of operating over a 0.8V to 5.5V input voltage range and supports a maximum continuous current of 4A. The VOUT rise time is configurable to reduce inrush current. The TPS22965-Q1 and TPS22965W-Q1 devices include a 225Ω on-chip load resistor for fast output discharge when the switch is off. The TPS22965x-Q1 devices are available in a space-saving 2mm × 2mm 8-pin WSON package (DSG0008A) with an integrated thermal pad for enhanced power dissipation. The TPS22965-Q1 and TPS22965N-Q1 devices are rated for operation over an ambient temperature range of –40°C to +105°C. Additionally, the TPS22965W-Q1 and TPS22965NW-Q1 devices use the same WSON package (DSG0008B) with wettable flanks and are rated for operation over an ambient temperature range of –40°C to +125°C.
